Anima-June Adoption (2417-Nena)!

<12-06-2021> 2417-Nena (F) was rescued by Anima on 15th October 2020, when she was one year old. She was collected by Anima after a call reporting that a cat had fallen into a patio at Edf. Mayfair Court in Rua de Francisco António. Nena was rescued and hospitalized in a clinic, as her pelvis was fractured. After recovery, she was welcomed into our Cats’ Paradise. Today, Nena found a forever family. Thank you for choosing to adopt, Ms. Fong! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! She is living under Ms. Chan’s responsibility in a construction site at Povoação de Lai Chi Vun. Anima will support with a spay surgery in order to prevent her from getting pregnant. Anima–June Rescue (2372-Wong Choi Mui)!

<12-06-2021> 2372-Wong Choi Mui (F), a 16-year-old dog, was rescued by Anima on 12 June 2021, following a call from Ms. Ieong, an Anima Board Member, reporting that a skinny dog was found wandering on the road of Praia Do Manduco. Our team was mobilized and noticed the dog was microchipped. IAM was informed and assisted us contacting the owner. The owner, however, claimed to be unable to continue taking care of the dog due to financial reasons. Wong Choi Mui was diagnosed with Mammary Gland Tumor and Pyometra last year and has, inclusively, received surgery. Wong Choi Mui was then welcomed into our Dogs’ Shelter. <06-06-2021> Today, we were visited by 76 people, of which 12 were from Pan Mac Junior Chamber on a visit to our Cats' Paradise. The group helped us doing volunteer work and donated cat toys! Thank you for your visit and support! Education is the key issue for changing the cruelty environment against animals. Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2020, we were visited by 10.495 people, compared with 7.487 visitors in 2019. Anima-C.E.M. and M.Y.V.A. visited us!

<06-06-2021> Today, Anima received a joint visit from CEM and 20 volunteers from Macau Youth Volunteers Association. The group walked some furry friends from our Dogs’ Shelter and had the chance to learn a bit more about Anima’s work. This is the first of a series of four activities that CEM will organize throughout June for 80 volunteers of Macau Youth Volunteers Association and Macau Youth Federation. The aim of this initiative is to raise awareness among young people about environmental protection and care for the most vulnerable in Macau. Thank you for your visit and support!
