Anima–September Sad News (SPP2375-MoMo)!

<18-09-2023> SPP2373-Aerobic (M), around two years old, SPP2374-Queen (F), around three years old and SPP2375-MoMo (F), around two years old back then, are under our Special Protection Program (SPP) since 18th June 2021, under Mr. Ng’s responsibility in Ka Ho. Recently, SPP2375-MoMo was hospitalized in a clinic, as she was diagnosed with canine distemper, tick fever and she had also pancreatitis. Her prognosis was getting worst after neurological signs, such as circling and seizure, were verified in the morning. Besides all our efforts, SPP2375-MoMo passed away today. R.I.P. our friends! Anima–September Sad News (C1520-Allie)!

<01-09-2023> C1519-Alma (F) and C1520-Allie (F), around two years and one year old, respectively, were rescued by Anima on the 9th May 2017, after a call from Ms. Sandy, reporting that she took them home yesterday and asked us if we could take to Anima all the cats she feeds in Guia as she found many have been poisoned there. C1512-Wifi was taken on the 3rd May 2017! They were welcome to our Cats’ Paradise. Recently, C1520-Allie was found with no strength to get up and she was sent to our own clinic for a previous consultation and treatment. Besides all our efforts, she passed away, after the typhoon. Anima–August Sad News (C1796-Bronte)!

<29-08-2023> C1796-Bronte (F), C1797-Austin (F), C1798-Dickinson (M) and C1799-Woolf (M), were rescued by Anima on 7th December 2017, after a call from IAM reporting that they don’t have enough space for the cats. They were all desexed by IAM. All of them stay in our Cats’ Paradise. Anima and IAM are cooperating in order to save as many animals as possible! Recently, C1796-Bronte was hospitalized in a clinic due to an intestinal tumor. Her prognosis was bad also due to advanced age and besides all medical efforts, C1796-Bronte passed away today. Anima–August Sad News (C2838-Baggie)!

<29-08-2023> C2838-Baggie (M), around six years old, was rescued by Anima, after one of our staff, Mr. Danilo, reporting that there was a large plastic bag outside of our Dogs’ Shelter with a cat, C2838-Baggie, inside. Apparently, the cat was abandoned on the street. C2838-Baggie was sent to a clinic immediately. According with the vet, he was dehydrated, he has kidney failure, heart disease, and a respiratory infection. His prognosis turned worst after more exams and besides all medical efforts, C2838-Baggie passed away today. R.I.P. our friends! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–August Sad News (FM014-Faye)!

<24-08-2023> An adult fancy mouse, FM012-White Peach (F), and two lab rats, FM013-Kaye (F) and FM014-Faye (F) were rescued by Anima on 24th October 2022, after a call from a lady referring her situation and why she could not take care of them anymore. All were welcome to our Dogs’ Shelter. Recently, FM014-Faye was scratching her body until bleeding and she had to be hospitalized. According to the vet, they found a tumor on her neck and suspect that it was blocking her blood circulation. A surgery was recommended, but besides all medical efforts, she passed away, today. Anima–August Sad News (FM012-White Peach)!

<18-08-2023> An adult fancy mouse, FM012-White Peach (F), and two lab rats, FM013-Kaye (F) and FM014-Faye (F) were rescued by Anima on 24th October 2022, after a call from a lady referring her situation and why she could not take care of them anymore. All were welcome to our Dogs’ Shelter. Recently, FM012-White Peach got worst from two large lumps on the abdomen causing some skin problem as well. Anima–August Sad News (C2544-Ivy)!

<16-08-2023> C2544-Ivy (F), around three years and five months old, was rescued by Anima on 10th March 2021, after a call from Ms. Cheong reporting that a cat ran into the shop bleeding from her mouth, opposite to the Red Market in Avenida de Horta e Costa. Apparently, the cat looks very fat and could be pregnant.C2544-After consultation, pregnancy was confirmed. C2544-Ivy was brought by our rescue team and welcome to Cat’s Paradise. Recently, she was hospitalized under fluids in a clinic, as she has kidney problems and she is getting skinny. Her prognosis was bad also due to other symptoms. Anima–August Sad News (397-Sleepy)!

<10-08-2023> 397-Sleepy (M), is one of our senior dogs with a chronic pancreatitis. Recently, he was hospitalized in a clinic, as he vomited, he was in pain and with difficult breathing. A surgery was performed immediately and Sleepy’s spleen was removed due to a tumor. Blood test done after surgery showed anemia and inflammation. He was still hospitalized for treatment, although prognosis was bad also due to advanced age. Besides all medical efforts, 397-Sleepy passed away today. R.I.P. our friends! Never Abandon your pets!
