Anima–August Sad News (598-Lucky Mui)!

<08-08-2025> 598-Lucky Mui, one of our female senior dogs has been in anima upon her rescue. Recently, she was found weak, unable to stand up on her own and no apetite. According to the vets, she might have a kidney disease. After all medical efforts, 598-Lucky Mui passed away today due to a tumor. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–July Sad News (C2415-Zorro)!

<31-07-2025> C2415-Zorro (M), around seven years old now, was rescued by Anima on 12th October 2020, after a call from Ms. Wong reporting that a cat had been lying next to a bus stop of Avenida do Infante D. Henrique for half an hour, not moving even if some pedestrian kicked his tail. Rescue team went there, saw the cat lying on the middle of the road and sent him to a clinic. After recover, C2415-Zorro was welcome to our Cats’ Paradise. Recently, he was found weak and dehydrated, with liver and kidney problems. Anima–July Sad News (1337-Hayden)!

<17-07-2025> 1337-Hayden (M), around a few months old, was rescued by Anima on 23rd October 2014, after a call from Ms. Chow, referring that he was not able to walk and he was shaking in Coloane. Hayden always had serious skin problems upon his rescue, but recovered slowly. Nowadays, he is one of our senior dogs. Recently, 1337-Hayden got sick and he was hospitalised in a vet clinic. According to the vet, he suffers from intussuception and intestinal tumor, with minimal chances to survive after a surgery. Besides all medical efforts, 1337-Hayden passed away today. Anima–June Sad News (C2789-Poker)!

<24-06-2025> C2788-Cheerio (F), around eight months old, C2789-Poker (F), around five and a half years old and C2790-Hunter (F), around one year old back then, were rescued by Anima on 15th February 2023, after a call from IAM informing that there was no more space to rescue animals. They were welcomed to our Cat’s Paradise. Recently, C2789-Poker was diagnosed with IMHA (Immune-Mediated Hemolytic Anemia), and she was hospitalized in a veterinary clinic. <03-06-2025> 1601-Kanani (M), around four months old, was rescued by Anima on 6th December 2015, after a call from Ms. Lo reporting that a Pitbull Terrier, was found in the park of Kwong Wa San Chuen, in a bag. She asked us help. 1601-Kanani had a severe skin problem and no microchip. He was welcome to our Dogs’ Shelter! Recently, he has been sick for a while and became weak.
