Anima–June Sad News (C2360-Dwarfs)!

<26-06-2023> C2360-Dwarfs (M), around eight months old back then, was rescued by Anima on 20th June 2020, after a call from Ms. Cheong reporting that an injured cat, C2360-Dwarfs, was found in the backyard of her building. She asked us to help. According to Ms. Cheong, there were some neighborhood cats gathered in the backyard and howled. She suspects that C2360-Dwarfs got bitten by older cats in that area. C2360-Dwarfs’s right face had an open wound for one month and he got worst. Rescue Team set a cat trap in the site and C2360-Dwarfs was caught. C2360-Dwarfs was sent to a clinic before being welcome to our Cat’s Paradise. Recently, his health condition forced Dwarfs being hospitalized in a clinic due to heart failure with a lung edema, severe jaundice and anemia. Besides all medical efforts, Dwarfs passed away today. Anima–June Sad News (C2116-Reeve)!

<16-06-2023> C2116-Reeve (F), one of our senior cats, was found in her litter box having bloody diarrhea. She was sent to a clinic for consultation. Reeve needed to stay under IV treatment with medication. Blood test results show severe anaemia and she has a severe intestine inflammation. Anima–June Sad News (1442-Hac Mui)!

<08-06-2023> 1442-Hac Mui (F), one of our senior dogs around 12 years old, was rescued by Anima on 8th January 2016, after a call from Mr. Antonio reporting that Hac Mui was originally taken care by an old man near A-Ma Temple, but the old man passed away. Recently, Hac Mui had very difficult breathing. She was sent to a clinic. According with the vet and medical exams, Hac Mui suffers from a serious heart problem. Anima–May Sad News (1638-Adria)!

<29-05-2023> 1637-Addy, 1638-Adria and 1639-Aditi were rescued by Anima on 20th January 2016, after a call from Mr. Wong reporting that he found three female puppies around two and a half months old back then, in a box from a construction site near Fai Chi Kei. He did not know if someone abandoned the puppies in the box. Our rescue team arrived the site and collected the three puppies. Recently, 1638-Adria was hospitalized in a clinic, as she was having diarrhea for a few weeks and she was under medication. An ultrasound showed a tumor in the intestine and abdomen. Her prognosis was bad and besides all our efforts, 1638-Adria passed away today. R.I.P. our friends! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–May Sad News (440-Ana)!

<25-05-2023> 440-Ana (F), is one of our senior dogs. Recently, she was hospitalized in a clinic, as she was unable to sit up and lost her appetite. X-ray results showed that Ana have her stomach a little swollen, probably due to food inside. An ultrasound revealed that one of the kidneys was shrunken. Both kidneys have cytosis degeneration and the gallbladder has sludge. A test for FPL was positive. She was hospitalized under IV, painkillers and anti-inflammatory treatment. Her prognosis was bad also due to advanced age and besides all our efforts, 440-Ana passed away today. R.I.P. our friends! Never Abandon your pets! <25-05-2023> C2085-Viru (M), around one year old, C2086-Albin (M), around one year old, C2087-Rasa (F), around two years old, C2088-Careina (F), around four years old and C2089-Wintor (M), around two years old, were all rescued by Anima on 19th February 2019, after a call from IAM regarding no more space. Recently, C2088-Careina had been hospitalized in a clinic, as she was getting skinny and dehydrated. Health tests results showed a huge inflammation, kidney and liver failure. Anima–May Sad News (SPP2427-Sweet Potato)!

<11-05-2023> The senior SPP2427-Sweet Potato was under our SPP program since 14th January 2022, under the responsibility of Ms. Ceci in Edf. Industrial Cheong Long. Today, Ms. Ceci informed Anima that Sweet Potato have passed away peacefully during her sleep last night. SPP2427-Sweet Potato, around 18 years old, has been suffering with heart disease. She has been going to a vet clinic for periodical consultation and rechecks while also taking long term heart medication. Unfortunately, aging and some health conditions cannot be changed and SPP2427-Sweet Potato passed away today, besides all medical efforts. Anima–May Sad News (C2514-April)!

<09-05-2023> C2514-April (F), one of our adult cats, has been living in our Cats’ Paradise since 11th February 2021, after being rescued from Macau Kennel as they were completely full. Recently, C2514-April was found sneezing and coughing. She was sent to a clinic for consultation and health exams. Results showed that she had a severe kidney failure and she was getting very dehydrated as she was not eating, in the clinic. It was suggested a kidney dialysis treatment for April to help decrease the toxins in her blood. Besides all our and medical efforts, C2514-April passed away today. R.I.P. our friends!
