Anima–May Sad News (573-Ting Ting)!

<03-05-2023> 573-Ting Ting (F), one of our senior dogs, recently, was found lethargic and she was not eating. Previously, Ting Ting was diagnosed with a tumor that has gotten worse causing swelling of lymph nodes and a kidney failure. It has been spread to the liver and spleen. Besides all treatments and medical efforts, 573-Ting Ting passed away today. R.I.P. our friends! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–May Sad News (SPPC2188-Halima)!

<02-05-2023> SPPC2188-Halima (F), around three years old at the time, became under our SPP program since 4th September 2019, after a call from Mr. Ho who had been feeding a pregnant cat, but the cat appeared to have a small wound on her leg. After recover, SPPC2188-Halima was welcome to our Cats’ Paradise. Recently, she got sick, vomiting and being lethargic. SPPC2188-Halima was sent o a clinic where she was diagnosed with an acute hepatitis. Besides all medical efforts and treatments, SPPC2188-Halima passed away today. R.I.P. our friends! Anima–April Sad News (800-Newspaper)!

<20-04-2023> 800-Newspaper, one of our senior dogs, has been living in Anima until today. He woke up breathing abnormal and he was sent to a clinic. Recently, he has been losing weight and results of a blood test showed tick fever positive. Medication was prescribed for two weeks. According to a vet, Newspaper also suffers from a lymphoma cancer. Prognosis was bad and 800-Newspaper passed away today. R.I.P. our friends! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–April Sad News (SPP711-Kam Sa)!

<12-04-2023> SPP710-Pak Sa, SPP711-Kam Sa, SPP719-Ah Gym, SPP721-AhHong, SPP722-Tai Pou, SPP723-Yi Pou, SPP724-Sam Pou, SPP725-Sai Pou, were rescued by Anima on 15th June 2015 and sent to Coloane kennel for adoption. SPP711-Kam Sa, now considered as one of our senior dogs, was diagnosed with cancer. His health condition got wrost and there is no cure. Anima–April Sad News (C2534-Manson)!

<12-04-2023> Eleven cats, C2529-Pringles (M), two and a half months old, C2530-Tamas (M) and C2531-Tamaya (F), both three and a half months old, C2532-Manford (M), around two years old, C2533-Marino (M), around five months old, C2534-Manson (M),around three years old, C2535-Melvin (M), around one year old, C2536-Gusta (F), around two years old, C2537-Kristy (F), around one year old, C2538-Krystal (F), around two years old and C2539-Kimama (F), around three years old, were rescued by Anima on 26th February 2021,from Macau Kennel as they were completely full. All were welcome to our Cats’Paradise. Recently, C2534-Manson was sent to a clinic for consultation as he had been taking antibiotics for a while, but he still has a yellowish nasal discharge, sometimes with blood from his nose. Anima-April Sad News (C2554-Anthony)!

<06-04-2023> C2554-Anthony (M), around two years old back then, was rescued by Anima on 18th March 2021, after a call from Ms. Sofia reporting that her cat trapped another cat, Anthony, from Trail near Ocean Garden (Plum Court). She lost her cat Congee on 7th March 2021, and last seen was him running to the trail near Ocean Garden Plum Court. C2554-Anthony was collected by rescue team and welcome to our Cats’ Paradise. Recently, Anthony had lost a lot of weight, got anemic and with a little nasal discharge. It was uspected to be FIP. He was under treatment, but his health condition got wrost. Anima–March Sad News (C2689-Yolando)!

<22-03-2023> C2689-Yolando (M), around five years old back then, was rescued by Anima on 20th January 2022, after a message from Ms. Cheong referring that she saw an injured cat near the Buddhist Temple at Escada do Papel. Our Rescue team went to the site but couldn’t find the cat. Later, we were informed by another lady, Ms. Ng, that the injured cat, C2690-Yolando showed up in that area again. He was caught by a volunteer, Ms. Wong, and he was sent to a vet clinic for consultation. After being hospitalized, C2689-Yolando was welcome to our Cats’ Paradise! Recently, Yolando was sent to a clinic for consultation. According to the vet, he was FIV positive and diagnosed with kidney problems. Besides all medical efforts, C2690-Yolando passed away today. Anima–March Sad News (C2232-Holly)!

<16-03-2023> C2232-Holly (F), around four years old, was rescued by Anima on 10th November 2019, when she was brought to our Cats’ Paradise by Ms. Chan, claiming that she has been feeding her but found people putting rat poison where Holly lived and it could be dangerous for her. C2232-Holly was welcome to our Cats’ Paradise! Recently, Holly was sent to a clinic, as our staff reported that her spirit and appetite was not good. Blood test results showed severe anemia, mild inflammation and jaundice. Her liver also was swollen. Suspected the anemia was caused by an autoimmune problem. Steroids were prescribed and Holly had to be hospitalized. According to a vet, euthanize was suggested previously to end her unhealthy condition of life and suffering. Holly passed away today. Anima–February Sad News (C1049-Gisela)!

<27-02-2023> C1049-Gisela (F), was rescued by Anima on 11th October 2015, after a call from Mr. Chong reporting that a kitten, around three months old, was found in Iao Hon days before. The kitten had a black collar and as the weather was getting cold, he asked for our support. She was welcome to our Cats’ Paradise! Recently, Gisela was diagnosed with pancreatitis and kidney problems. She was hospitalized in a clinic for treatment and constant veterinary care.
