Anima–December Sad News (C487-Pumba)!

<27-12-2017> C487-Pumba (M), around five years old now, was rescued by Anima on 30th April 2013, after a call from Ms. Ho reporting that a cat needed our help. C487-Pumba was getting sick. He had pancreatitis and severe kidney problem with infection. He was staying in the clinic for treatment and observation. Unfortunately he couldn’t make it. C487-Pumba stayed with us for so long. Anima-December Return to Family (1915-Prince)!

<27-12-2017> 1915-Prince has finished his accommodation at Anima for 14 days and returns home now! 1915-Prince (M) and 1916-Princess (F), both around one month old at that time, were rescued by Anima on 1st August 2017, after a call from our staff reporting that two puppies were found abandoned outside the main entrance of our dog shelter. 1915-Prince was adopted by Mr. Filipe on 13th November 2017! This program is mainly available to members and adopters at special rates provided we have enough space. For dogs, 70 patacas per day and for cats 40 patacas per day. In case of members, the membership fees must be update and fully paid for all the year (MOP 600). Who has adopted one animal from Anima does not pay any accommodation fee in the first year of adoption provided the period of accommodation does not exceed 15 days! Anima–Abandonment and Return (C1559-Cutie)!

<26-12-2017> C1559-Cutie (F), was rescued by Anima on 28th May 2017 when she was three years old, after a call from Ms. Bing informing that she had 16 cats but she was not able to keep them anymore as she was sick and need to have a surgery! C1559-Cutie was checked and de-wormed. She was adopted on 21st November 2017. However, we were informed by the adopter that C1559-Cutie has been meowing too much at night and scratching the furniture. As so, C1559-Cutie stays with us again. Never Abandon your pet! Anima–December Rescue (C1813-Boxing)!

<26-12-2017> C1813-Boxing (M), around one week old, was rescued by Anima on 26th December 2017, after a call from Ms. Wong reporting that a kitten was found in Rua Dois do Bairro Va Tai. C1813-Boxing was alone in the street with no mother beside. He was sent to a clinic as he was urinating blood. He is staying in the clinic for observation now. Thanks Ms. Wong! Anima–December Sad News (SPP1963-Kenzo)!

<24-12-2017> SPP1963-Kenzo (M), around three years old, was under our Special Protection Program (SPP) after rescued by Anima on 23th December 2017, after a call from our rescue team reporting that they found a dog unable to move during their daily feeding. SPP1963-Kenzo stayed with us for observation. He was supposed to have blood test and tick fever test today. But this morning his condition was getting worse. Anima–December Adoption (1917-Ah Bo II)!

<24-12-2017> Ah Bo II was adopted by Mr. João on 24th December 2017! 1917-Ah Bo II (F), around seven years old, was rescued by Anima on 4th August 2017, after a call from Ms. Rebecca reporting that a dog was crossing the road in Estrada do Altinho de Ka Ho and she was almost hit by a truck. No microchip was found on her. 1917-Ah Bo II had an ultrasound and further examination in a clinic as she had a big belly and a lump. She was submitted to a surgery and now is ok. She stayed in our dogs’ shelter and has been fostered by Mr. João since September. Mr. João decided to adopt Ah Bo II as she becomes part of his family already. Thanks Mr. João! Anima–Return to her home (SPP1485-Hac Mui)!

<23-12-2017> SPP1485-Hac Mui (F), was rescued by Anima on 27th June 2015, after a call from the staff of a friendly association asking us to help Hac Mui as a lump was found hanging from her stomach. She was sent to a clinic immediately for surgery. She was under our Special Protection Program since that day. On 2nd September 2016, we were informed that the appetite of Hac Mui was not good, she was vomiting and there was pus coming out from her vulva as well. Hac Mui was sent to a clinic. She had a pyometra. She was submitted to a surgery to remove the uterus and ovaries and stayed in the clinic for few days. She was returned to her former place on 4th September 2016.
