Anima–April Sad News (SPPC976-Joey)!

<18-04-2018> SPPC976-Joey (F),  under our Special Protection Program since 18th June 2015, was rescued by Anima on 17th March 2016 when she was around three years old, through Michele, somewhere in Taipa. On 10th March 2018 we found SPPC976-Joey had gingivitis, anemia and upper respiratory infection. SPPC976-Joey was sent to a clinic for second opinion. She was under treatment and had another blood test on 12th April 2018. The result showed that she still had infection, anemia and renal problem. Her condition was getting worst dramatically. SPC976-Joey could not even stand and refuses to eat. After discussion with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put her sleep. Last decision belongs always to the President of Anima, and it is not an easy decision! R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima–April Sad News (C273-Sleeper)!

<18-04-2018> C273-Sleeper (F), was rescued by Anima on the 21st July 2011 when she was around three months old. She had been staying with us since that time! On 7th April 2018, she was diagnosed with renal problem and FIV. Unfortunately C273-Sleeper was found passed away this morning. R.I.P. my friend! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pet! Anima-Exmoo News interviewed us!

<18-04-2018> Today, 34 people visited us, five of them were from Exmoo News that came to our Dogs Shelter to interview us! Our President Mr. Albano, our vice-president Mr. Billy and our board member Ms. Zoe attended the interview. We talked about Anima’s situation and greyhounds! Thanks for your strong support! Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2017, we had 9,251 visitors an increase of 23% as compared with 7,519 in 2016! 137 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us. We were in 34 events organized by friends or by us! This year, up to March 2018, Anima received 2261 visitors, 25 groups of schools, companies and associations and we have been out in three events! Anima–April Rescue and Sad News (R040-Snow)!

<18-04-2018> R040-Snow (F), around one year old, was rescued by Anima on 18th April 2018, after two calls from Ms. Kim and Mr. Lok both reporting the same case of a rabbit R040-Snow was dying in the Mong Ha Mountain. According to the people nearby, they saw some students holding the ears of R040-Snow and shaking it around. R040-Snow was sent to a clinic immediately. Her condition was critical as her temperature and heart beat were very low. Her digestive system was empty also. Unfortunately R040-Snow passed away in the clinic. R.I.P. my friend! Anima–April Adoption (1926-Caroline)!

<16-04-2018> Caroline was adopted by Mr. Albano on 16th April 2018! 1926-Caroline (F), was rescued by Anima on 17th September 2017 when she was around one week old, after a call from Mr. Lam reporting that he found a puppy on the Road of Tai Tam Hill and he was afraid it might got killed by cars. He brought 1926-Caroline to Anima. She was checked and dewormed by us. She had skin problem on the belly and some wounds on the paws at that time. April Temporary Accommodation (SPPC1694-Judd)!

<16-04-2018> Judd will temporarily accommodate at Anima for eleven days until 26th April 2018! SPPC1694-Judd (M), was under our Special Protection Program and was rescued by Anima on 22nd August 2017 when he was around five months old, after a call from Michele reporting that Judd needed medication support. SPPC1694-Judd’s left eye was blind already. He was adopted by Ms. Wong on 30th October 2017! Now he came back for a temporary accommodation as the family is going on vacation! If you adopt an animal from us you have the privilege to leave your animal in Anima during 15 days free of charge during the first year of adoption provided we have space. Never abandon your pet! Anima–April Sad News (C1864-Tomo)!

<16-04-2018> C1864-Tomo (M), was rescued by Anima on 18th March 2018 when he was around five years old, after a call from Ms. Ieong reporting that a cat C1864-Tomo was found on the approach span of Amizade Bridge. She collected the cat and brought to Cats’ Paradise. C1864-Tomo had two wounds on both left and right hind legs, some minor cuts under the right eye and on the right front leg at that time. His condition was not good as we found infections from the opening wounds. On 11th April 2018, C1864-Tomo was found apathetic and with hypothermia. He was sent to a clinic and the result showed he had renal problems and low glucose. According to the vet, C1864-Tomo could not prolong his life as his organs were starting to shut down and he was suffering in pain. After discussion with the vet and approved by two of our...

<16-04-2018> Tut Tut and Lemon will temporarily return to Anima for eleven days until 26th April 2018! C1100-Tut Tut and C1626-Lemon have been fostering by Ms. Wong since 4th September 2017 after the damage of typhoon at our Cats’ Paradise.
