Anima-Melco Resorts and Entertainment helped us!

<23-11-2021> Today, we were visited by 29 persons, of which 15 were volunteers from Melco Resorts & Entertainment. The group gave us a precious help with five members volunteering at our Dogs' Shelter. Our heartfelt thanks to all volunteers for the commitment and support to our cause! Education is the key issue for changing the cruelty environment against animals. Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! Anima–November Sad News (H057-JuJuBe)!

<23-11-2021> H055-Star Fruit (M), H056-MangoSteen (M), H057-JuJuBe (M), H058-Rambutan (M), H059-Physalis (M), H060-Sapodilla (M), H061-Guara (M), H062-Golden Apple (M), all around three months old by the time, were rescued by Anima on 2nd June 2020, after received a message on Facebook by Mr. Hong, reporting that eight hamsters were found abandoned in the park of Edf. Lok Kuan (Seac Pai Van) in a cage. He asked us to help. All of them were welcome to our Dogs’ Shelter. Unfortunately, their lifespan is very short compared to other big animals. Anima-November Adoption (C2356-Ponyo)!

<22-11-2021> Ponyo was adopted by Mrs. Elisa and Mr. Luiz! C2356-Ponyo, called “Ball Chai”, around three years old back then, was rescued by Anima on 3rd June 2020, after a call from Ms. Au reporting that a black and white cat had fallen from above and crawled into her shoe shop “Tin Lei Chi Heng” at Edf. Fong Iu on Rua do Lu Cao. After being recovered, Ponyo was welcome to our Cats’ Paradise. Ponyo has been in the foster care of a family since June 2020. Now, they have decided to become his family forever! We are especially grateful to Mrs. Elisa and Mr. Luiz, as they have ensured that Ponyo received the best care for over a year. <22-11-2021> Chicago was adopted today by Ms. Tam! R057-Chicago (M), a rabbit around three years old back then, was rescued by Anima on 13th March 2021. Our team was mobilized after a call from Ms. Leong reporting that she found a rabbit abandoned in a cage in Av. do General Castelo Branco. Chicago was collected and welcomed into our Cats’ Paradise. Anima–November Rescue and Sad News (C2663-Sunny)!

<21-11-2021> C2663-Sunny (M), a kitten around three months old, was rescued by Anima with the support of Mr. Carlos. Sunny was found by Mr. Carlos at around 7pm lying on the street of Rua Um do Bairro da Concórdia. The kitten was very weak and was transferred to a clinic. Unfortunately, however, Sunny didn’t survive. X-ray images revealed a fracture on his skull, possibly due to a fall from a height. IAM has been informed. R.I.P.! Please help us to help them! Anima at CEM’s Event “Green Movie Screening”!

<21-11-2021> Today, Anima attended CEM’s Green Movie Screening - A Glimmer of Hope for the Climate Crisis. The event took place at the outdoor venue of Macau Holy House of Mercy and around 90 people were present. The initiative counted with a charity sale of potted plants and souvenirs. A generous amount of MOP 4,473 was raised to Anima! The proceeds will help us in our efforts saving the homeless dogs. We are grateful to CEM for another great initiative!
