Anima–November Rescue (T035-Bobby)!

<08-11-2021> T035-Bobby (M), a young turtle, was rescued by Anima on 8th November 2021, after a call from one of our community members, Ms. Carla, reporting that a small turtle was found on the gutter in the Patio where she works on Calçada da Igreja de São Lázaro by her colleague. She asked our help. Our Rescue team went there and brought T035-Bobby. He was welcome to our Cats’ Paradise, in a proper pound that Anima has for aquatic animals. Thanks, Ms. Carla! Anima-November Adoption (C2630-Falcon)!

<07-11-2021> Falcon was adopted today by Ms. Chao! C2630-Falcon (M) was rescued together with his siblings on 11th September 2021, when he was around six weeks old. The rescue happened after a call reporting that several kittens had been found abandoned in a cardboard box at Fortaleza do Monte. They were sent by our team to a clinic for a check-up, as some of them seemed to be struggling to breath. After consultation, all were welcomed into Cats’ Paradise. Anima–November Sad News (C2172-Matteo)!

<06-11-2021> Sadly, our cat C2172-Matteo has passed away. Matteo was suffering from several health issues, including severe kidney problems. Despite the ongoing medical care, his health condition continued to deteriorate. Following veterinary advice and consent given by several Anima board members, Matteo was euthanized in a clinic in an effort to shorten his agony. RIP, our dear friend! Please help us to help them! <06-11-2021> C2656-Roofie (F), a kitten around five and a half months old, was rescued by Anima on 6th November, 2021. We received a Facebook message from Ms. Michelle reporting that her friend found and collected a cat on the canopy of a building in Rua de Pedro Coutinho. According to Ms. Michelle, Roofie had been staying there for a week already and no one claimed to be her owner. Roofie was then welcomed into our Cats’ Paradise. Please help us to help them! Anima-November Adoption (C2637-Bess)!

<02-11-2021> Bess was adopted today by Ms. Lei! C2637-Bess and C2638-Basia, both females around one month old, plus C2639-Barton, a male around four months old, were rescued by Anima on 5th October 2021, with the help of the fire department. After a call from Mr. Jorge reporting that he saw a black kitten fell from the height and hit on the ground in an abandoned house in Tv. da Praia Grande, the kitten seems not moving well and he was weak after falling. He asked us help. As this is a private property, Anima asked for cooperation to other responsible security entities. The three kittens were rescued with the help of Fire Department and IAM. C2637-Bess, C2638-Basia and C2639-Barton were rescued, and they were sent to a clinic where they became hospitalized. Fortunately, Falcon found the love of a new family today!
