Anima–March Sad News (605-Yogi)!
<13-03-2022> Sadly, our senior dog 605-Yogi has passed away. Yogi was almost 12 years old and had been living in our shelter since 2010. Recently, he was hospitalized due to heart problem with Pericardial Effusion. A Pericardiocentesis was performed to remove the fluids surrounding the heart of Yogi. This morning, however, his condition continued to deteriorate and the Pericardial Effusion has returned. Following veterinary advice and consent given by several Anima board members, Yogi was euthanized in a clinic in an effort to shorten his agony. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets!
