Anima-October Adoption (C2389-Jam)!

<02-10-2021> Jam was adopted by Mr. Poon! C2389-Jam (F) was rescued by Anima on 11th September 2020, when she was around three months old. We received a call from a local vet reporting that a family had rescued a female cat and brought her to a clinic, in order to check her condition. She tested positive for FeLV and the family couldn’t keep her, as they already had other cats at home. Jam was then welcomed into our Cats’ Paradise. Today, Jam found the love of a family! Anima–October Sad News (670-Wu Chai)!

<01-10-2021> Recently, our senior male dog 670-Wu Chai got sick and has been having serious health problems. According with the vet, 670-Wu Chai has a gallbladder disease, liver problem and a tumor within the spleen. Blood test results indicated that he has jaundice and the most important thing to do is treating his gallbladder disease (Choleretic) and liver Problem first. Anima-October Foster Family (C2634-Tyrant)!

<01-10-2021> Tyrant was fostered today by Ms. Ian! C2624-Alicia (F), C2625-Vargas (F), C2626-Mariko (F), C2627-Morass (F), C2628-Diablo (M), C2629-Flying Tiger (M), C2630-Falcon (M), C2631-Largo (M), C2632-Zola (M), C2633-Beetle (M) and C2634-Tyrant (M), all around six weeks old, were rescued by Anima on 11th September 2021. The rescue happened after a call from Ms. Chan, who reported to have found the kittens abandoned in a cardboard box at Fortaleza do Monte. They were firstly sent by our team to a clinic for a check-up, as some of them seemed to be struggling to breath. After consultation, all were welcomed into Cats’ Paradise. Today, Tyrant found the love of a foster family! Anima is in charge of supervising and licensing all younger animals until they reach the maturity required for adoption. Anima–September Abandonment (811-Nacha)!

<30-09-2021> 811-Nacha (M), nine years and nine months old, was adopted by a lady from Anima on 25th April 2012, when 811-Nacha was only three months old. Unfortunately, today he was left in Macau kennel! Anima was informed by IAM, recently that 811-Nacha was abandoned by the adopter at Macau Municipal Kennel due to an epilepsy seizure. 811-Nacha was rescued by Anima from Macau Municipal Kennel today, 30th September 2021. Owners need to know and to understand that there are more solutions than just abandon pets like material objects. They are living beings. Anima–September Rescue (C2635-Aero)!

<28-09-2021> C2635-Aero (M), around two months old, was rescued by Anima on 28th September 2021, after being reported by our staff that there was a small kitten walking on the net on the top of our Cats’ Paradise. The kitten was wandering between our building and Free Area backyard trying to climb to the Escola Superior das Forças de Segurança de Macau next door but failed. He was later caught by us and welcome to our Cats’ Paradise. Thank you, to all of our staff and community who help us! Please help us to help them! Anima–September Sad News (C1770-Burnley)!

<27-09-2021> C1762-Everton (M), C1763-Brington (M), C1764-Chelsea (F), C1765-Swansea (F), C1766-Crystal (F), C1767-Norwich (M), C1768-Leicester (F), C1769 -Manchester (M), C1770-Burnley (F), C1771-Arsenal (M), C1772-Liverpool (M) and C1773-Tottenham (F), were rescued by Anima on 16 November 2017, after a call from the IAM mentioning that they had no more space for cats. They were all vaccinated by the IAM and later observed by our veterinarian. All were welcome in our Cats’ Paradise! Recently, C1770-Burnley became ill, and she has been getting worse since august. Having already undergone several health examinations, treatments and no improvements, the opinion of both veterinarians and management will be to end her suffering so that she can rest in peace. Anima–September Sad News (FM008-Gaston)!

<27-09-2021> A family of three fancy mouses, the mother, FM001-Haisley (F), around one year old, the father, FM002-Harper (M), around one year old and the baby, FM003-Eesley (F), around 3 months old, were rescued by Anima on 7th March 2020, after a call from Mr. Lao reporting that he found three fancy mouses abandoned near a public garbage bin at R. Nova da Areia Preta (Nam Wa San Chun). He asked us to help. On 16th March 2020, FM001-Haisley gave birth to FM004-Evelyn and the baby passed away two days later in our Dogs’ Shelter. FM003-Eesley gave birth to FM005-Patty, FM006-Olga, FM007-Fred, FM008-Gaston and FM009-Odett. All of them are healthy and stay in ANIMA for now until can be adopted! Recently, FM008-Gaston (M) got sick and have serious breathing problems. Today in the clinic where he was hospitalized, FM008-Gaston passed away. According with one vet, it was due to pneumonia. Anima-September Adoption (2185-Leslie)!

<27-09-2021> Leslie was adopted today by Mr. Danny! 2185-Leslie (M), around six years old by the time, was rescued by Anima on the 18th October 2019, after a call from Ms. Suzanna who found a Husky wandering alone in the street. Our rescue team recognized the dog that used to have an owner in a workshop and brought him to Anima for check his health condition. 2185-Leslie was welcome to our Dogs’ Shelter. He was temporarily fostered by Mr. Danny on 11th October 2020. Today, Leslie was adopted and he found the love of a new family! Thanks, Mr. Danny! Please adopt and never buy! Anima–September Sad News (SPP2240-Ah Wong)!

<24-09-2021> SPP2240-Ah Wong (M), around 13 years old, was under our Special Protection Program (SPP) since 9th March 2020. He was under Mr. O's responsibility in Templo de A-Ma (Barra). Anima was informed by Mr. O that SPP2240- Ah Wong was weak, lethargic, and not eating at all. SPP2240-Ah Wong was immediately sent to a clinic for consultation. Blood test results indicated that he has amenia. X-Ray Examination and Ultrasound results were normal. He was tested positive for Canine Ehrlichia (Tick Fever). According to the vet, he might also suffer from an Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD) as he was unable to stand or walk. SPP2240-Ah Wong was hospitalized in the clinic for treatment. Unfortunately, and despite all medical efforts, he did not survive. His body will be delivered in IAM. R.I.P. our old friend! Please help us to help them! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–September Sad News (SPP2141-Ah Mui)!

<23-09-2021> SPP2241-Ah Mui (F), around 12 years old, was under our Special Protection Program (SPP) since 9th March 2020. She was rescued by Anima on 19th May 2020, after a call from Mr. O reporting that she was sick, and he asked our help. After recover, SPP2141-Ah Mui was sent back to her place. Recently, Mr. O reported that SPP2241-Ah Mui passed away in a clinic because she was hit by a car. Ah Mui was immediately sent to the clinic before, but she died hours later because of internal bleeding due to her broken bladder after the accident. R.I.P. our old friend!
