Anima–October Rescue (B053-Nion)!

<24-10-2016> B053-Nion was rescued by Anima on 24th October 2016, after a call from Mr. Lam reporting that a pigeon fell into his shop in Av. do Conselheiro Ferreira de Almeida. Nion’s leg seemed injured. Nion was sent to a clinic and staying in the clinic for observation now. Thanks Mr. Lam! Please help us to help them! All animals have rights! Anima-Rescue and Return (SPP1059-Shar Pei Chai)!

<24-10-2016> SPP1059-Shar Pei Chai (M), around six years old, was under our Special Protection Program since 31st August 2015, after a call from Gina referring that he was found sick somewhere in Taipa. Shar Pei Chai was sent to a clinic immediately and was diagnosed with tick fever. He was recovered and backed to his former place on 25th September 2015. He was sent to Anima again due to a nose bleeding on 24th August 2016. Medication was prescribed by our vet. He was returned to his place after consultation. Today we were informed that Shar Pei Chai seemed to have elevated body temperature and was  skinny. Shar Pei Chai was sent to a clinic and diagnosed with tick fever again. He was returned to his former place, after medication prescribed. He needs to follow up consultation after two weeks. He will be monitored closely by our rescue team. Rescue, Return and New cat under SPP (SPPC1318-Squiggle)!

<24-10-2016> SPPC1318-Squiggle (M), three months old, now under our Special Protection Program, was rescued by Anima, through Michele, on 24th October 2016, somewhere in Taipa. Squiggle was brought to Anima because he was slightly dehydrated and very skinny. He had upper respiratory infection and got watery discharge on both eyes. He was returned to the former place after the medication was prescribed. Michele is responsible for him in that area. Thanks Michele! Please help us to help them! Please don’t be cruel to pets! Anima–October Rescue (C1315-Okra)!

<22-10-2016> C1315-Okra (F), five years old, was rescued by Anima on 22nd October 2016, after a call from Ms. Ao reporting that she rescued a cat last Saturday in Rua de Kun Iam Tong. Okra was sent to a clinic by Ms. Ao as she has difficulty to breathe. According to the vet, her stomach was inside the chest, and the right hind leg was fractured. Ms. Ao asked our help because she couldn’t afford the surgery expenses. Okra was sent to a second clinic by us for further examination. She will have the surgery tomorrow but this surgery is  risky. <20-10-2016> SPPC1286-Tai Mui (F) and SPPC1287-Sai Mui (F), on the time both six months old, were under our Special Protection Program (SPP) and were rescued by Anima through Ms. Rella on 23rd September 2016. They live somewhere in Macau. Today they were sent to a clinic for spay. They were returned to their former place after surgery. Ms. Rella is responsible for them in that area. Anima–Rescue (C1313-Asahi)!

<19-10-2016> C1313-Asahi (F), three months old, was rescued by Anima on 19th October 2016, after a call from Ms. Leong reporting that a kitten was found near Pui Ching Middle School. Asahi was soaking and seemed to have an injury on the legs. Ms. Leong sent Ashai to a clinic and found that there was a fracture on her pelvis bone, but the vet said she is too young to receive a surgery now. Ashai was then transferred to a second clinic by us. According to the second clinic, the vet could run a surgery and put a small metal board between the pelvis bones to keep the bones in place. Rescue, New SPP and Accommodation (SPPC1312-Wando)!

<15-10-2016> SPPC1312-Wando (M), eight years old, now under our Special Protection Program, was rescued by Anima through Michele, on 15th October 2016, somewhere in Taipa. He was brought to Anima and checked by our vet. A blood test showed that he has renal failure, severely dehydration, jaundice, hypothermia and anemia. He is staying with us under IV dripping now.
