Anima–Rescue April (2358-Ziggy)!

<26-04-2021> 2355-Wong Chai (M), around one year old, was rescued by Anima on 26th March 2021, after receiving a call on 23rd March from Mr. Ao Yeong reporting that in Edf. Ip Heng, block 5 on the 14th Floor, a neighbor left a dog in the corridor for a few days without anybody knowing. 2355-Wong Chai’s sibling, 2358-Ziggy (M) was also collected by IAM and had been staying in Macau Kennel for quarantine. Today, 2358-Ziggy (M), around one year old, was rescued by Anima from the kennel and he is now welcome to our Dogs’ Shelter. Thanks, IAM! Never Abandon your pets! Abandoning a pet should be a crime! Anima–April Rescue (C2577-Ion)!

<26-04-2021> C2577-Ioni (F), around six months old, was rescued by Anima on 26th April 2021, after a call from a person reporting that he found a cat bleeding from her mouth, all wet, sitting up and not moving on Rua de Kun Iam Tong. Our president, Ms. Zoe, went to site immediately and sent the cat to a clinic. C2577-Ion has severe oral problem, and she have been bleeding for a while. X-ray scan showed no fractures. Blood test results showed also that she has renal failure. C2577-Ion will be hospitalized in the vet clinic for treatment. Thanks to all the community for your help and care! Never Abandon your pets! <23-04-2021> B210-Greenie, an adult conure, was rescued by Anima on 23rd April 2021, after being found by Mr. O who oversees A-Ma Temple, reporting that a parrot, B210-Greenie was found in the temple. He asked us to help. B210-Greenie is very skinny. He has a pink metal leg ring in the left leg with tag ''Hill6487''. B210-Greenie will be fostered by our staff. Thanks, Mr. O! Anima-April Rescue (2361, 2362)!

<23-04-2021> 2361-On On (M) and his sibling, 2362-Lok Lok III (M), around one and a half year old, were rescued by Anima on 23rd April 2021, after a call from an individual volunteer, Ms. Chan, regarding that she is taking care of 2361-On On and 2362-Lok Lok III in the Gas Station at T. de Combustíveis do Parque de Ka-Ho, one year ago. 2362-Lok Lok had a car accident in February and his back hind leg was fractured. He received a surgery in a clinic and returned to his place. According to the vet, Lok Lok III will need time to recover. In this situation, he will not be able to live in his former area (Gas Station) anymore. Both, 2361-On On and 2362-Lok Lok III were welcome to our Dogs’ Shelter. Never Abandon your pets! Anima–April Rescue (C2576-Bellamy)!

<22-04-2021> C2576-Bellamy (F), around one and a half month old, was rescued by Anima on 22nd April 2021, after a call from Ms. Chou reporting that she found a very weak kitten, C2576-Bellamy, lying in the middle of the street in Avenida 1 de Maio. Since the kitten was in danger because of the car traffic, Ms. Chou asked us help. Rescue team went to the site and Bellamy was brought to our Cats’ Paradise. Thanks for your help, Ms. Chou! Anima–April Rescue (C2575-Kiki)!

<20-04-2021> C2575-Kiki (F), around four years old, were rescued by Anima on 20th April 2021, after a call from Ms. Lu reporting that she found a very weak cat lying next to the bus stop on Rua do Campo. Rescue team went to site immediately and sent the cat to a clinic. Kiki was full of eyes discharge and not very active. According to the vet, she has a lot of fleas and malnutrition. Blood test results showed severe anemia and she has renal failure. C2575-Kiki will be hospitalized in the vet clinic for treatment. Thanks, Ms. Lu! Never Abandon your pets! <19-04-2021> B209-Skippy, a baby dove, was rescued by Anima on 19th April 2021, after being found by one of our staff member reporting that there was a dove sitting on the ground in our Cats’ Paradise. There is a nest on a tree nearby, but it was high to put him back. Anima-April Rescue and Return (SPP2311, SPP2312)!

<19-04-2021> SPP2310-Myra (F), SPP2311-Myrna (F) and SPP2312-Myron (M), all around one month old by the time, were registered under our Special Protection Program (SPP) on 5th November, 2020. It was reported then that three puppies were wandering near Hac Sa Beach. The mother dog was always in the mountains and it was very difficult to approach. Two dogs, SPP2311-Myrna and SPP2312-Myron, would eventually stay under the responsibility of some volunteers working near the beach. Myrna and Myron, now around seven months old, were rescued by Anima today, neutered in a private clinic and returned to their former area after surgery. Anima–April Rescue (C2574-Carson)!

<17-04-2021> C2574-Carson (M), a cat around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 17th April 2021, following a facebook message from Ms. Lio reporting to have seen a cat near the Mail Exchange Centre at Estrada de D. Maria II. Carson was seen several times in the past few weeks wandering around different locations and Anima has been trying to rescue him since March, 7th. Our Rescue Team managed to rescue him today using a cat trap. Carson was immediately sent to a private clinic for consultation. Blood Test results were normal and he’s considered healthy. Anima–April Sad News (B208-Small)!

<14-04-2021> B208-Small, a baby bird, was rescued by Anima on 13th April 2021, after receiving a call from Ms. Hong reporting that there is a small bird, B208-Small all wet and not moving between the ally of Edf. Jardim Hoi Wan, Taipa. Ms. Hong also mentioned that before the bird, there were some students throwing something over that area and later, after they left, she saw the little bird. Our rescue team sent B2087-Small to a clinic for consultation. B208-Small will stay in the clinic under medical care until being able to fly again. Unfortunately, despite all medical efforts, he did not survive, and his body will be collected to be delivered in IAM. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets!
