Anima–February Adoption (SPPC1293-Homer)!

<11-02-2017> Homer was adopted by Mr. Rodrigues on 11th February 2017! SPPC1292-Ava (F), SPPC1293-Homer (M) and SPPC1294-Pigeon (F), were rescued by Anima through Michele when they were around five months old, on 24th September 2016, somewhere in Taipa. Ava had upper respiratory infection and conjunctivitis. She was sneezing, the right eye lid was reddish and inflamed. She was under medication. Homer and Pigeon were healthy and stayed with us for adoption. Homer and Pigeon were adopted on 1st December 2016. However, they were returned on 11th December 2016 as the adopter said they were always fighting with each other, especially during midnight, which caused a lot of noise and their neighbours were complaining. Anima–February Adoption (C1341, SPPC1325)!

<11-02-2017> Kobe and Becky were adopted by Mr. Tam on 11th February 2017! C1341-Kobe (F), was rescued by Anima on 20th November 2016, when she was around 1.5 months old, after a call from Ms. Hui reporting that a kitten was found in Jardim de S. Francisco. Kobe was checked by our vet and dewormed. She was fostered by our cat supervisor, Ms. Connie, temporarily as she needed force feeding. The mother, SPPC1324-Polly (F), on the time with an estimated age of three years old, together with her kittens, SPPC1325-Becky (F), SPPC1326-Sawyer (M) and SPPC1327-Huck (M), on the time all with an estimated age of 1.5 months old, were under our Special Protection Program (SPP) and rescued by Anima, through Michele, on 7th November 2016, somewhere in Taipa. <11-02-2017> Today, 39 people visited our dog shelter, 32 of them were from Escola Primária Oficial Luso-Chinesa ''Sir Robert Ho Tung''! Thanks for your strong support! Education is the key issue for changing the cruelty environment against animals. Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2016, we had 7,519 visitors an increase of 30.4% as compared with 5,768 in 2015! 128 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us, an increase of 85.8 per cent! Rescue and New Dog Under SPP (SPP1856-Hugo)!

<10-02-2017> SPP1856-Hugo (M), with an estimated age of two years old, now under our Special Protection Program (SPP), was rescued by Anima on 10th February 2017, after a call from Mr. Leong reporting that a dog got an open wound on the body during a fight last night in a site of Coloane. Hugo received a surgery to stitch up the wound. He was returned to his former place after the surgery. Mr. Leong is responsible for him in that area. Anima–February Rescue (C1419, C1420)!

<10-02-2017> C1419-Samson (M) and C1420-Sander (M), both with an estimated age of two years old, were rescued by Anima on 10th February 2017, after a call from Ms. Koo reporting that there were three cats in the car park of Alfandega de Macau at Rua S. Tiago da Barra and the stray dogs were chasing them often. We set a trap over there and today Samson and Sander were caught. They were checked by our vet and dewormed. <09-02-2017> Cheese was adopted by Ms. Song on 9th February 2017! C1296-Cheese (F), was rescued by Anima on 4th October 2016 around 6:30pm, when she was around two weeks old, after a call from Mr. Wong reporting that a kitten was found in Guia Municipal Park without the mother beside. Cheese had upper respiratory infection and dehydration. She was fostered temporarily by our supervisor Zoe as she needed milk feeding. She has stayed with us until now. Thanks Ms. Song! <09-02-2017> Rainbow was adopted by Mr. Vong on 9th February 2017! C1398-Rainbow (F), was rescued by Anima on 21st January 2017, when she was around two months old, after a call from Mr. Fan reporting that a kitten was found in “Jardim de Luís de Camões” (Camões Garden) the night before. Anima–Abandonment and Return (SPPC1254-Carrick)!

<08-02-2017> SPPC1254-Carrick (M), was rescued by Anima through Michele, when he was around two months old, on 5th August 2016, somewhere in Taipa. Carrick was brought to Anima and checked by our vet. His right eye was swollen and he had ringworm infection over the body. He was fostered temporarily by our staff Ms. Peng as he needed medication and observation. He was returned to his former place on 6th August 2016 and backed to Anima on 23rd August 2016 for adoption. Carrick was adopted on 18th September 2016. We were informed by the adopter today that her parents got sick and she needs to leave Macau for one year. Anima–Mimi Needs a New Home!

<08-02-2017> Please help Mimi to find an adopter as soon as possible! We received a call from Mr. Lei on 8th February 2017, reporting that he couldn’t keep his cat anymore. According to Mr. Lei, he just moved to a small apartment and there is no enough space for Mimi to walk around. He is going to several long trips and he won’t stay in Macau for long as well.
