Anima-January New Born Kittens (C1394-C1397)!

<20-01-2017> C1385-Salem (F), was rescued by Anima on 17th January 2017, with an estimated age of ten months old, after a call from Ms. Tam reporting that she found a cat pregnant in the "Auto-Silo do Lido"(lido car park). Salem was sent to a clinic by Ms. Tam for accommodation for one night and then transferred to our Cat’s Paradise. Amble was checked by our vet and dewormed. Today, four kittens C1394-Baquette, C1395-Bagel, C1396-Donut and C1397-Croissant were born. Welcome to this world! Please help us to help them! Please de-sex your pets! Never Abandon your pet! Rescue and Cooperation with IACM (1838, 1839)!

<20-01-2017> 1838-Nam Nam (M), with an estimated age of two years old, together with 1839-Seven (M), with an estimated age of ten months old, were rescued by Anima on 20th January 2017, after a call from IACM reporting that there were two dogs in the Macau kennel that needed our help. According to IACM, Nam Nam and Seven were rescued by a rescue team group few months ago. But they delivered them to IACM last week as they failed to find an adopter and they don’t have a shelter. One of them lost one leg. We will try our best to socialize them with other animals! Anima and IACM are cooperating to rescue and save more stray animals! They were licensed, neutered and vaccinated. Rescue and Cooperation with IACM (C1387-C1392)!

<19-01-2017> C1387-Muffin (M), with an estimated age of two years old, C1388-Nacho (F), with an estimated age of three years old, C1389-Popcorn (F), with an estimated age of two years old, C1390-Sundae (F) and C1391-Waffles (F), both with an estimated age of nine months old, C1392-Coco (M) with an estimated age of seven months old, were rescued by Anima on 19th January 2017, after a call from IACM asking Anima to help those animals that have been placed for adoption for long time without success. Anima and IACM are cooperating to rescue and save more stray animals! They were all neutered and vaccinated. C1388-Nacho had an amputation and a surgery to fix her broken arm and will stay under observation until she recovers. C1389-Popcorn is completely blind and needs time to adjust to the new environment. She will stay in a room for a while. All others are free in our Cat’s...

Anima–January Rescue (C1386-Tebbie)!

<18-01-2017> C1386-Tebbie (M), with an estimated age of four years old, was rescued by Anima on 18th January 2017, after a call from Ms. Peng reporting that her neighbor passed away few days ago and left three cats, which no one taking care of them. There is a gap from the door of the flat from which the cats can come out and search for food. Ms. Peng and the neighbors set up a trap and Tebbie was caught today. They are trying to catch the remain cats and we will collect them once they are caught. Tebbie was checked by our vet and deworm and is under quarantine in our Cat’s Paradise now. Anima–January Abandonment and Return (1661-Jenson)!

<17-01-2017> 1661-Jenson (M), was rescued by Anima on 4th March 2016, with an estimated age of four months old, after a call from a security guard of a company somewhere in Coloane, reporting that a puppy, 1661-Jenson, was trapped in the branches inside the company and Jenson had a collar and leash on. According to the guard, 1661-Jenson was almost hit by a truck. For some unknown reason, Jenson keeps biting himself when he gets excited. And because of that, it was difficult for us to find a family for him. Jenson was adopted on 31st December 2016. We were informed by the adopter few days ago that Jenson destroyed several materials in his house and he is aggressive to everyone when they tried to stop him from chewing or destroying the things in house. Jenson is staying with us again. An adoption is a serious decision! Please do it with responsibility! Never Abandon...

Anima–January Return to Family (C1381, C1382)!

<15-01-2017> C1381-William (M), with an estimated age of two years old, together with C1382-Harry (M), with an estimated age of three years old, were rescued by Anima on 13th January 2017, after a call from Ms. Mui reporting that she couldn’t keep her two cats temporarily. According to Ms. Mui, she used to rescue dogs in the street and had rented a place to put the dogs, but now the owner got the place back so she had to put all the dogs inside her house. Her two cats couldn’t get along well with the dogs, and she had no more space to separate them. William and Harry stayed in our Cat’s Paradise temporarily. Ms. Mui visited us yesterday and explained that she just found a place to transfer the dogs. As so, William and Harry were backed to home already. Never Abandon your pet! Anima–January Adoption (C1289-Funny)!

<14-01-2017> Funny was adopted by Ms. Mak on 14th January 2017! C1288-Prissy (F) and C1289-Funny (F), were rescued by Anima on 23rd September 2016, with an estimated age of few days old, after a call from Mr. Kuok reporting that two kittens were found in Praça de Ponte e Horta the night before. He took care of them for a night and asked our help. Prissy and Funny were collected to Anima. They were fostered temporarily by our supervisor Zoe as they needed milk feeding. Anima–January Adoption (SPP1147-Joey)!

<14-01-2017> Joey was adopted by Ms. Carolina on 14th January 2017! SPP1147-Joey (M), with an estimated age of four years old now, was rescued by Anima on 3rd November 2013, after a call from our president, Mr. Albano, reporting that he found an injured puppy nearby Venetian roundabout inside a pipe. The puppy refused to come out and we asked the fire department to help. Total four puppies were found but they were trapped inside the pipe. All were healthy except one puppy, Joey, that had a broken bone. Joey was sent to a clinic and one of his legs was severe injured. His leg had to be cut. Joey was fostered by Ms. Carolina over three years already. We are happy that Joey found a good family, as Carolina decided to adopt him! This is a good example of care and love! Thanks Ms. Carolina! Anima–January Return to Family (SPP1770-Whistle)!

<14-01-2017> Whistle was returned to  Mr. Ng on 14th January 2017! SPP1770-Whistle (M), on the time with an estimated age of three years old, together with SPP1771-Fat Boy (M), on the time with an estimated age of 2.5 years old, were under our Special Protection Program, after being rescued by Anima on 15th August 2016, following a call from Ms. Chan, reporting that two dogs were found injured after a fight in the site of MGM. According to the guard, Whistle was bitten by seven dogs that were all living in another site. Whistle and Fat Boy were sent to a clinic for treatment. Multiple holes were found on Whistle’s body, the chest, the abdomen and the left shoulder. As the wounds were very wide and deep, he needed over 60 stitches to close all them up.
