Anima–January Rescue and Deceased (C2478-Dali)!

<10-01-2021> C2478-Dali (M), a cat around four years old, was rescued by Anima today following a call from Mr. Chan reporting that a severely injured cat had been seen crawling from under a car, eventually hiding in a ATM kiosk in Rua do Coelho do Amaral. Our Rescue team was mobilized and directly sent Dali to a private clinic. Dali was bleeding from his mouth, presented a big wound on his right front leg and couldn’t use his back legs. X-ray results revealed pneumothorax and pulmonary hemorrhage. Sadly, Dali didn’t survive his multiple injuries and would pass away in the clinic a few hours later. R.I.P.! Anima–January Rescue (2334, 2335, 2336)!

<06-01-2021> 2334-Ben Ben (M), around seven years, 2335-Fei Mui (F), around 14 years old and 2336-Cola (F), around seven years old, were rescued by Anima on 6th January 2021, after a call from a person regarding on 28th December, that a lady who was living in Centro International de Macau and supported by Anima with animals’ food, was hospitalized in Centro Hospitalar Conde de São Januário. According to the person, she has three dogs and around 13 cats at home originally. The cats were released to the terrace of the building, but the three dogs were at home. The person asked us help. Anima caught the dogs, 2334-Ben Ben, 2335-Fei Mui, 2336-Cola, and they were sent to our Dogs’ Shelter (Anima), today. Thanks for helping! Please help us to help them! Anima-December Rescue (from C2468 to C2475)!

<31-12-2020> The cats, C2468-Manisha (F), around five months old, C2469-Pontus (M), around two years old, C2470-Piper (M), around five months old, C2471-Philo (M), around two and a half years old, C2472-Maggie (F), around seven months old, C2473-Makana (F), around one year old, C2474-Manee (F), around one year old and C2475-Porter (M), around four years old, were rescued by Anima on 31st December 2020, after a call from IAM reporting that they were out of space for cats. <30-12-2020> C2465-Cubie (M) and C2466-Cassy (F), both around 8 months old, were rescued by Anima on 30th December 2020, after a call from Mr. Miguel on 28th December informing that a lady who was living in Centro International de Macau and supported by Anima for food, was hospitalized in Centro Hospitalar Conde de São Januário. Anima–December Rescue (C2459, C2460)!

<23-12-2020> C2459-Merlot (F), around three months old and C2460-Pinot (F), around two and a half months old, were rescued by Anima on 23rd December 2020, after a call from IAM regarding that they do not have more free space for cats now. Anima–December Rescue (C2451, C2452, C2453, C2454 and C2455)!

<20-12-2020> Five kittens were rescued by Anima today. C2451-Hawaii (F), C2452-Juniya (F), C2453-Kurisu (M), C2454-Haruki (M) and C2455-Hiroto (M), all around three weeks old, were rescued following a call from Mrs. Choi reporting to have found them in a workshop in Ilha Verde. They were very close to the site where kitten C2450-Kawaii was rescued yesterday and they all seem to be siblings. No mother cat was seen nearby. Mrs. Choi managed to rescue three kittens, but two other (Haruki and Hiroto) could be heard meowing at the site. Our Rescue team was mobilized and rescued Haruki. Hiroto, however, was found stuck inside a narrow 40-feet-deep pit (12 meters). We have contacted I.A.M. to assist us with the rescue and, eventually, Hiroto was successfully caught!
