Anima–March Rescue (C1864-Tomo)!

<18-03-2018> C1864-Tomo (M), around five years old, was rescued by Anima on 18th March 2018, after a call from Ms. Ieong reporting that a cat C1864-Tomo was found on the approach span of Amizade Bridge this morning. She collected the cat and brought to Cats’ Paradise. C1864-Tomo was checked by us. He had two wounds on both left and right hind legs, some minor cuts under the right eye and on the right front leg. C1864-Tomo is staying at Cats’ Paradise for treatment and quarantine. Thanks Ms. Ieong! Please help us to help them! If you want us to help them, you must help us adopting or fostering! Anima–March Rescue and Sad News (2012-Mia)!

<17-03-2018> 2012-Mia (F), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 17th March 2018 during our daily feeding and was already dead. Escola Luso Chinesa Técnico-Profissional visited us!

<17-03-2018> Today, 45 people visited us, 17 of them were from Escola Luso Chinesa Técnico-Profissional that came to our Cats’ Paradise! Thanks for your strong support! Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2017, we had 9,251 visitors an increase of 23% as compared with 7,519 in 2016! 137 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us. We were in 34 events organized by friends or by us! This year, up to February 2018, Anima received 927 visitors, ten groups of schools, companies and associations and we have been out in two events! Anima–March Adoption (C1737-Antal)!

<17-03-2018> Antal was adopted by Mr. Leong on 17th March 2018! Five kittens, C1737-Antal (M), C1734-Alta (F), C1735-Amata (F), C1736-Amicus (M) and C1733-Asia (F) , were rescued by Anima on 24th October 2017 when all were around three months old. They were brought to Cats’ Paradise by Ms. Ofélia and Ms. Siedy. According to Ms. Ofélia the cats were found in Choc Van. They managed to give away one kitten for adoption and they asked our help for the rest. All of the cats were checked by us and dewormed. C1737-Antal has stayed with us and was now adopted. Anima–March Adoption (1968-Mack)!

<17-03-2018> Mack was adopted by Ms. Winnie Fok, the wife of our Chief  Executive, on 17th March 2018! 1965-Madonna (F) with her three puppies, 1966-Mekenna (F), 1967-Maddox (M) and 1968-Mack (M), were rescued by Anima on 6th January 2018 when the puppies were around two weeks old, after a call from our rescue team reporting that they found a dog that gave birth to new puppies during their daily feeding in a site. We used to have an old man, as our volunteer, taking care of the dogs in that area. The old man passed away, so we collected them. 1968-Mack has stayed with us and was now adopted. Ms. winnie Fok has visited us on 13th March afternoon time and stayed with us for around 1.5 hours, playing with animals and talking to our President and staff. She authorized us to tell to the community that we must adopt and not buy!...

Anima–March Rescue (C1863-Querida)!

 <16-03-2018> C1863-Querida (F), around one month old, was rescued by Anima on 16th March 2018, after a call from Ms. Lam reporting that she found an injured cat C1863-Querida that was suspected fell down from a building in Rua de Barca. She asked us for help. C1863-Querida was sent to a clinic. She was very weak. C1863-Querida is now fostered by our staff Zoe as she needs milk feeding. Thanks Ms. Lam and Ms. Zoe! Anima–March Return to Family (1625-Wallace)!

<15-03-2018> Wallace was returned to the family after accommodating in Anima since 1st December 2017. 1625-Wallace was adopted by Mr. Mário Rui on 13th February 2016. This program is mainly available to members and adopters at special rates provided we have enough space. For dogs, 70 patacas per day and for cats 40 patacas per day. In case of members, the membership fees must be update and fully paid for all the year (MOP 600). Who has adopted one animal from Anima do not pay any accommodation fee in the first year of adoption provided the period of accommodation does not exceed 15 days! <15-03-2018> C1862-Dag (M), around 1.5 months old, was rescued by Anima on 15th March 2018, after a call from Mr. Mok reporting that he found a new born kitten C1862-Dag in Rua das Estalagens. He put C1862-Dag in a box and waited for our rescue team. C1862-Dag was collected, checked by us and dewormed. C1862-Dag has upper respiratory infection with sever ocular and nasal discharge.
