Anima-January Return (B195-Hua Du)!

<19-01-2021> Today, B195-Hua Du was released back to nature! B195-Hua Du, a pigeon, was rescued by Anima on 16th January 2021, following a call from Ms. Kuan informing that a pigeon flew into her building at Rua do Campo and was trapped on the stairways. Our rescue team was mobilized and Hua Du was rescued and sent to a clinic. B195-Hua Du recovered, and he is ready to go back home! Thank you for the warning call, Ms. Kuan! Anima–January Rescue (B195-Hua Du)!

<12-01-2021> SPP2337-Katie (F), around one and three months old, is now under our Special Protection Program (SPP), under Ms. Wong’s responsibility in a Ka Ho workshop, Coloane. Ms. Wong reported that there was female dog who needs to be desexed before getting pregnant. Anima is going to help providing dog food and brought her to a vet clinic for a spay surgery, today. Anima–January Rescue (C2480-Yi Pou)!

<12-01-2021> C2480-Yi Pou (M), around 9 years old, was rescued by Anima on 12th January 2021, after a call from Mr. Miguel regarding on 28th December, that a lady who was living in Centro International de Macau and supported by Anima for food, was hospitalized in Centro Hospitalar Conde de São Januário a week ago. According to Mr. Miguel, she has three dogs and around 13 cats at home originally. The cats were released to the terrace of the building but the three dogs still at home. He asked us help. C2480-Yi Pou was caught by IAM a few days ago. Anima brought the cat, C2480-Yi Pou and he is welcome now to our Cat’s Paradise. Thanks, Mr. Miguel! Please help us to help them! Anima-New SPP dog (SPP2337-Katie)!

<11-01-2021> SPP2337-Katie (F), around one year and three months old, is now under our Special Protection Program (SPP), under Ms. Wong’s responsibility in a Ka Ho workshop, Coloane. Anima–January Rescue and Return (SPP2241-Ah Mui)!

<11-01-2020> SPP2241-Ah Mui (F), around 12 years and 8 months old, is under our Special Protection Program (SPP) since 9th March 2020, under Mr. Jake ‘s responsibility in Templo de A-Ma (Barra). Today, Anima was informed that SPP2241-Ah Mui has blepharitis (inflammation) reoccurring on the eyelids causing redness. She was sent to a vet clinic and made some medical exams. SPP2241-Ah Mui returned to the former site after consultation and under prescribed medication. Thanks, Mr. Jake! Please help us to help them! <10-01-2021> C2479-Josie (F), a kitten around three months old, was rescued by Anima today following a facebook message from Ms. Lio reporting that two sick kittens suffering from ocular discharge were seen in Pátio do Mungo. We were able to catch one the kittens, C2479-Josie, who was immediately sent to a clinic. Ms. Lio will assist us rescuing the remaining kitten. Thanks for your warning message and support, Ms. Lio! Anima–January Rescue and Deceased (C2478-Dali)!

<10-01-2021> C2478-Dali (M), a cat around four years old, was rescued by Anima today following a call from Mr. Chan reporting that a severely injured cat had been seen crawling from under a car, eventually hiding in a ATM kiosk in Rua do Coelho do Amaral. Our Rescue team was mobilized and directly sent Dali to a private clinic. Dali was bleeding from his mouth, presented a big wound on his right front leg and couldn’t use his back legs. X-ray results revealed pneumothorax and pulmonary hemorrhage. Sadly, Dali didn’t survive his multiple injuries and would pass away in the clinic a few hours later. R.I.P.!
