<13-05-2021> 2367-Bun (M), around 2 months old, was rescued by Anima on 13th May 2021 from IAM, after a call from a person interested in adopting him. 2367-Bun was sent to a clinic for a full check up on his health situation. Anima–May Rescue (C2579, C2580)!

<04-05-2021> C2579-Justin (M) and C2580-Marly (M), around one month old, were rescued by Anima on 4th May 2021, after a call from Ms. Carrie referring that she found two kittens inside a paper box in Bloc. Funcionários on R. da Restauração, yesterday. Ms. Carrie took Justin and Marly to a clinic and later, she left them in our Cats’ Paradise. Both are now being temporarily fostered by our staff. Anima–May Sad News (262-Roy)!

<03-05-2021> Sadly, our dog C2575-Roy (F) as passed away today. She was a senior resident of our shelter, around 14 years old. Recently, Roy had been suffering with kidney problems and anemia. She had to become hospitalized in a vet clinic for treatment. Unfortunately, and despite of all medical efforts, she did not survive. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–Rescue May (SQ008-Peanut)!

<01-05-2021> SQ008-Peanut, a baby squirrel, was rescued by Anima on the 1st May 2021, after a call from Ms. Helga reporting to have found a small squirrel, apparently with a broken leg, in the trail near Hac Sa Water Reservoir. Anima–April Rescue (2363-CoCo)!

<30-04-2021> 2363-CoCo (F), around one and a half years old, was rescued by Anima on 30th April 2021, after a call from Mr. Chan reporting that a poodle, 2363-CoCo, was wandering on the road at Rotunda da Concordia and almost got hit by a car. He asked us to help. CoCo does not have a microchip and stayed in our Dogs’ Shelter. Later, we received a call from the owner Ms. Leong, who claimed mencioned that 2363-Coco had escaped from the house which is at Estr. de Lai Chi Vun. 2363-CoCo will be returned to Ms. Leong after implant the microchip in IAM. Anima–April Sad News (C214-BiBi)!

<30-04-2021> C214-BiBi (F), previously adopted by Mr. Albano, was sent to a clinic on 27th April 2021, after a call from himself reporting that she was not eating. Multiple exams were made, and results showed acute kidney failure and Hyperkalemia (High Blood Potassium). According to the doctor, she might die without treatment. C214-BiBi was hospitalized in the clinic, under fluids and injections. Unfortunately, despite all medical efforts, she did not survive and her body will be delivered in IAM for cremation. Anima–April Sad News (C2577-Ion)!

<28-04-2021> C2577-Ion (F), around six months old, was rescued by Anima on 26th April 2021, after a call from a person reporting that he found a cat bleeding from her mouth, all wet, sitting up and not moving on Rua de Kun Iam Tong. Our president, Ms. Zoe, went to site immediately and sent the cat to a clinic. C2577-Ion has severe oral problem, and she have been bleeding for a while. X-ray scan showed no fractures. Blood test results showed also that she has renal failure. She was hospitalized in the vet clinic for treatment. Despite all medical efforts, C2577-Ion passed away today! R.I.P. our friend! Anima–April Sad News (C2575-Kiki)!

<27-04-2021> C2575-Kiki (F), around four years old, was rescued by Anima on 20th April 2021, after a call from Ms. Lu reporting that she found a very weak cat lying next to the bus stop on Rua do Campo. Rescue team went to the site immediately and sent the cat to a clinic. Kiki was full of eyes discharge and not very active. According to the vet, she has a lot of fleas and malnutrition. Blood test results showed severe anemia and she has renal failure. C2575-Kiki have been hospitalized in the vet clinic for treatment. Unfortunately, despite all medical efforts, she did not survive and her body will be delivered in IAM. R.I.P. our friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–Rescue April (2358-Ziggy)!

<26-04-2021> 2355-Wong Chai (M), around one year old, was rescued by Anima on 26th March 2021, after receiving a call on 23rd March from Mr. Ao Yeong reporting that in Edf. Ip Heng, block 5 on the 14th Floor, a neighbor left a dog in the corridor for a few days without anybody knowing. 2355-Wong Chai’s sibling, 2358-Ziggy (M) was also collected by IAM and had been staying in Macau Kennel for quarantine. Today, 2358-Ziggy (M), around one year old, was rescued by Anima from the kennel and he is now welcome to our Dogs’ Shelter. Thanks, IAM! Never Abandon your pets! Abandoning a pet should be a crime!
