Anima-February Return (B197-Vera)!

<12-02-2021> B197-Vera, a dove, was rescued by Anima on 5th February 2021, following a call from Ms. Hui informing that she found a dove, B197-Vera, unable to fly near Edf. Kam Loi. She asked us help. Our rescue team collected Vera, sending her directly to a clinic. According to the vet, she was weak and needed to be fed. She was hospitalized in the clinic until full recover. Today, B197-Vera was returned to nature! Thanks, Ms. Hui! Please help us to help them! If you want us to help them, you must help us adopting or fostering! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–February Rescue (from C2511 to C2520)!

<11-02-2021> Ten cats, C2511-January (M) and C2512-February (M), both around two years old, C2513-March (M), around eight years old, C2514-April (M), around two years old, C2515-May (F), C2516-June (M), C2517-July (F) and C2518-August (M), all around one year old, C2519-September (F), around two years old and C2520-October (F), around one year old, were rescued by Anima on 11th February 2021, from Macau Kennel as they are completely full. Anima–February Rescue (C2510-Chrome)!

<10-02-2021> C2510-Chrome (M), around one year old, was rescued by Anima on 10th February 2021, after a call from Ms. Chan reporting that she found a cat lying on the floor behind the gate door of Edf. Chon Va in Est. do Repouso. Ms. Chan took some photos from far away and sent to Anima’s Facebook as well. C2510-Chrome was sent to a clinic for consultation. X-Ray results showed both hind feet have a small fracture. In the clinic, staff notice that the cat might have an owner as he is friendly during health treatments. C2510-Chrome will stay in clinic under veterinary supervision for a while, until recover. Thanks, Ms. Chan! Please help us to help them! Anima–February Rescue (C2508, C2509)!

<10-02-2021> C2508-Bones (M), around one and a half years old and C2509-Autumn (F), around four months old, were rescued by Anima on 10th February 2021, after a call from Mr. Ng reporting that he found three dead cats in the alleyway at Rua Dois do Bairro Iao Hon. After arriving at the place, rescue team contacted IAM and the police, regarding this case. On 8th February 2021, one of our members notices some bad smell when changing food of the trap in "CSA Computer Zone", which was in Rua Um do Bairro Iao Hon, and our rescue team went to check. Yesterday, when our rescue team arrive to the area other three dead bodies were found. This was reported again to IAM and the police. Anima–February Rescue (2342-Sylvia)!

<09-02-2021> 2342-Sylvia (F), around 12 years old, was rescued by Anima on 9th February 2021, after a call from Ms. Ruby regarding that an old dog, 2342-Sylvia, used to live in a construction site near Praia Park but the site already finished the work, and no one will take care of her anymore. Workers plan to release 2342-Sylvia near the site, but outside there is a traffic road which is quite dangerous. She asked us help. Last year during Chinese New Year, and because of Covid-19, no worker could come back to the site and 2342-Sylvia was always wandering in the road alone. Anima had several calls regarding this case on that time, but our rescue team failed to catch her as she was difficult to approach. Anima–February Rescue (B196-Riva)!

<05-02-2021> B196-Riva, was rescued by Anima on 5th February 2021, following a call from Ms. Choi informing that she found a dove, B196-Riva, unable to fly on the pavement near Municipal Affairs Bureau. She asked us help. Our rescue team collected Riva and sent her directly to a clinic. According to the vet, her wing is broken and need to be forced feed as well. Anima–February Rescue (C2499, C2500, C2501, C2502)!

<04-02-2021> C2499-Sage, C2500-Leaf, C2501-Indigo and C2502-Willow, newborns around two days old, were rescued by Anima on 4th February 2020, after a call from Mr. Tong regarding that for two days his working company “CSA Computer Zone” in Rua Um do Bairro Iao Hon have been listening crying from a kitten in the ceiling. Today, some of the company staff opened the ceiling and found four kittens, Sage, Leaf, Indigo and Willow. Mr. Tong does not have any experience with animals, special newborns, and he asked us help. Anima set up a trap to catch the mother. The kittens were collected by our rescue team, and they were welcome to our Cat’s Paradise. Anima–January Rescue (C2498-Tako)!

<31-01-2021> C2498-Tako (M), a cat around four months old, was rescued by Anima on 31st January 2021, following a call from Ms. Chao reporting that a kitten had been wandering in Beco do Peixe Salgado for the last three days. According to Ms. Chao, the cat was abandoned by a shopkeeper when the store moved to a different location. Our Rescue team visited the site and managed to rescue him after setting a cat trap. Anima–January Rescue (C2497-Vava)!

<30-01-2021> C2497-Vava (F), a kitten around seven months old, was rescued by Anima on 30th January 2021, following a call from Ms. Luk reporting to have found an injured cat in Calçada do Monte. Our Rescue team was mobilized and Vava was immediately sent to a clinic. X-ray results revealed a mandibular symphyseal fracture. The most frequent causes of mandibular fractures are road traffic accidents or falls from heights. A surgery is required and was already scheduled. Vava is very gentle, has a clean coat and no fleas, so we suspect that she may have an owner. She will stay hospitalized and under close observation. Thanks for the warning call, Ms. Luk!
