Anima–January Rescue (SPPC1617, SPPC1741)!

<02-01-2018> SPPC1617-Dee (M), on the time around four months old, SPPC1741-Castor (M), on the time around one month old, were under our Special Protection Program since 27th June 2017 and 26th October 2017, respectively. They were rescued today through Michele, somewhere in Taipa. SPPC1617-Dee and SPPC1741-Castor were not eating and vomiting. SPPC1617-Dee has upper respiratory tract infections with fever, nasal and ocular discharge. SPPC1741-Castor has nasal discharge. After medications were prescribed, they returned to their place under Michele's responsibility. Thanks Michele! Please help us to help them! Anima–January Rescue (1964-Buddy)!

<01-01-2018> 1964-Buddy (M), around one year old, was rescued by Anima on 1st January 2018, after a call from our rescue team reporting that they found a dog tied up in a site during their daily feeding. According to the worker in the site, 1964-Buddy was abandoned by his owner in the site one week ago. The worker asked our help as 1964-Buddy was not adapting to the site and he was afraid Buddy will be killed by a truck. 1964-Buddy is staying with us now. Please help us to help them! Anima–December Adoption (C1636-Regina)!

<31-12-2017> Regina was adopted by Mr. Leung on 31st December 2017! C1636-Regina (F), around one year old, was rescued by Anima on 7th July 2017, after a call from Ms. Kong reporting that her friend found and took a cat home two weeks ago near Macau Kennel and tried to find someone to adopt her but failed. C1636-Regina was adopted once but returned after few days. C1636-Regina was checked and dewormed. She has stayed with us and was now adopted. Thanks Mr. Leung! Please Adopt and never Buy! Anima-Our Lady of Fatima Girl’s school visited us!

<30-12-2017> Today, 30 people visited us, seven of them were from Our Lady of Fatima Girl's school that came to our Cat’s Paradise as volunteers! Thanks for your strong support! Education is the key issue for changing the cruelty environment against animals. Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2016, we had 7,519 visitors an increase of 30.4% as compared with 5,768 in 2015! 128 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us, an increase of 85.8%! This year, up to November 2017, Anima received 8,497 visitors, an increase of 32.6% as compared with the same period of last year. 127 groups of schools, associations, companies and friends have visited us, an increase of 35.1%, and we have been in 30 events organized by friends or by us! December Rescue and Temporary foster(Snowball)!

<28-12-2017> Snowball (M), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 28th December 2017, after a call from Ms. Xia reporting that a Bichon Frise pure breed was found in the bushes under the pedestrian bridge of Seac Pai Van crossing. Anima-December Return to Family (1915-Prince)!

<27-12-2017> 1915-Prince has finished his accommodation at Anima for 14 days and returns home now! 1915-Prince (M) and 1916-Princess (F), both around one month old at that time, were rescued by Anima on 1st August 2017, after a call from our staff reporting that two puppies were found abandoned outside the main entrance of our dog shelter. 1915-Prince was adopted by Mr. Filipe on 13th November 2017! This program is mainly available to members and adopters at special rates provided we have enough space. For dogs, 70 patacas per day and for cats 40 patacas per day. In case of members, the membership fees must be update and fully paid for all the year (MOP 600). Who has adopted one animal from Anima does not pay any accommodation fee in the first year of adoption provided the period of accommodation does not exceed 15 days! Anima–December Adoption (1917-Ah Bo II)!

<24-12-2017> Ah Bo II was adopted by Mr. João on 24th December 2017! 1917-Ah Bo II (F), around seven years old, was rescued by Anima on 4th August 2017, after a call from Ms. Rebecca reporting that a dog was crossing the road in Estrada do Altinho de Ka Ho and she was almost hit by a truck. No microchip was found on her. 1917-Ah Bo II had an ultrasound and further examination in a clinic as she had a big belly and a lump. She was submitted to a surgery and now is ok. She stayed in our dogs’ shelter and has been fostered by Mr. João since September. Mr. João decided to adopt Ah Bo II as she becomes part of his family already. Thanks Mr. João!
