Anima – June Adoption (C1196-Trish)!

Trish was adopted by Mr. U on 14th June 2016! C1196-Trish (F), around 2.5 months old, was rescued by Anima on 18th May 2016, after a call from Mr. Bok reporting that a kitten was found outside the tunnel of University of Macau. Trish was brought to Anima by Mr. Bok. Thanks Mr. U! Please Adopt and never buy! Never Abandon your pet! Anima – Hard Rock Hotel Macau Visited Us in June!

Today 23 people visited us, 12 of them from Hard Rock Hotel Macau! Thanks for your strong support! Pets are for life! More and more visitors come to Anima! In 2015, we had 5,768 visitors an increase of 4.7% as compared with 5,511 in 2014! This year, up to May 2016, Anima received 3,270 visitors, an increase of 21.92% as compared with the same period of last year! The number of groups visiting us increased to 29 groups! Anima – June Rescue (1737-Jefferson)!

1737-Jefferson (M), around six months old, was rescued by Anima on 12th June 2016, after a call from Ms. Paula and Ms. Lizie reporting that a puppy, 1737-Jefferson, had a collar and seemed abandoned near Grand Coloane Hotel. Jefferson was crossing the road carelessly. 1737-Jefferson had a lot of ticks and skin problems. Thanks Ms. Paula and Ms. Lizie! Please help us to help them! Anima – June Sad News (C1215-Calla)!

Calla left us today, 11th June 2016! C1173-Cheddar (F), was rescued by Anima on 21st April 2016, after a call from Mr. Wai informing that Cheddar fall down from the terrace of Jardim da Victoria (Block H). Our rescue team found Cheddar trapped in a closed terrace of the building. She was collected, checked and dewormed. Cheddar was dehydrated, had fever and gum problems. She was also pregnant! Cubbie was born by Cheddar on 5th June 2016 but died during the process. The other two babies, Caelan and Calla were taken out by surgery. Caelan died on 9th and now Calla died also! R.I.P. my friend! Anima – June Sad News (C1210-Shahi)!

Shahi died today, 11th June 2016! C1189-Sabrin (F), around two years old, was rescued by Anima on 10th May 2016, after a call from Ms. Kou reporting that she found a pregnant cat at R. de João de Araujo. Sabrin was picked up by our rescue team and checked by our vet. Her belly was very big and tense, the spirit seemed good, but the ears were dirty. She gave birth to C1208-Sage (M), C1209-Sirus (M), C1210-Shahi (F), C1211-Saber (M) and C1212-Salmo (M) on 31st May 2016. Unfortunately Sage was found dead that morning, Salmo died on 9th and Saber on 10th! Now Shahi left us also! R.I.P. my friend! Saber died today, 10th June 2016! June information about animals (1607 and 1608)!

1607-Eerika and 1608-Eemeli were rescued by Anima on 20th December 2015, after a call from Mr. Hoi reporting that a pair of German Weimaraner dogs, were living in his construction site at Estrada de Hac Sa. According to Mr. Hoi, 1608-Eemeli has limping since few months old due to an accident. He needed to be pay very high attention to them in that area as they were always going to the road. They were abandoned by someone when they were three months old. According to Mr. Hoi, the original owner bought them in Germany for the equivalent of around HKD 25,000 each. Anima has placed them in the IACM for adoption but 1608-Eemeli got sick, with systematic diarrhea, and was separated from his sister Eerika. This was a wrong decision from us! Rescue and New Dog under our SPP (SPP1662-Tanmi)!

SPP1662-Tanmi (F), was rescued by Anima on 9th June 2016, after a call from Ms. Lee reporting that SPP1662-Tanmi was found pregnant. SPP1662-Tanmi lives in the construction site somewhere in Cotai and Ms. Lee was used to feed her in that area. SPP1662-Tanmi was caught by Ms. Lee today and delivered to a clinic immediately for an ultrasound. The ultrasound showed that the fetus was already around 7 weeks old. SPP1662-Tanmi needs to stay overnight in the clinic. Tanmi is now under our Special Protection Program. Thanks Ms. Lee! Please help us to help them!
