November new SPP (SPP1577-Rada and SPPC1073-Sally)!

SPP1577-Rada, is now under our Special Protection Program (SPP). She was found by our rescue team during the daily feeding somewhere in Macau. She is the mother of five puppies. As there is no people taking care of her, our rescue team will be responsible for her in that area. SPPC1073-Sally is now also under our Special Protection Program (SPP) after a call from Ms. Wong reporting that a total of five cats (four male cats and one female cat) live somewhere in Taipa. Sally will be spayed once we catch her. Ms. Wong is the responsible for all of them in that area. Please be responsible! Anima – Another example of cruelty in Macau!

Anima was called today by Ms. Cheong to rescue one dog in a casino construction site (Nova Cidade de Cotai, Gate 54) that had a trap in the front right leg. According to Mr. Yum, who is responsible for the dogs in that area, it is the second time this happens and he doesn’t know who does that! These traps are used to catch bears! It is time to end these cruelty situations! It is time to put in force the law that is being discussed in the Macau Legislative Assembly! Even being, in our opinion, not a good law it is for sure an improvement to the actual environment! University of Macau (Pearl Jubilee College) visited us!

Today 52 people visited us, 20 were from University of Macau – Pearl Jubilee College! More and more visitors come to Anima! Last year we have 5,511 visitors as compared with 5,032 visitors in 2013, an increase of around 9.5%! In 2015, up to the end of October, we had 4,761 visitors an increase of 4.7% as compared with 4,549 in the same period of 2014! 47 groups of schools, associations and companies have visited us up to October! Anima – November Adoption (C1016-Meadow)!

Meadow when born and now with Susana. Meadow is the baby of C965-Mika that was rescued by Anima on 8th June 2015 at Estrada do Cemiterio (Santo António e São Lázaro" Social Service Centre), after a call from Mr. Ieong. She was already pregnant but we were not aware. C1016-Meadow, C1017-Magda, C1018-Monty, C1019-Marik and C1020-Marion are her new kittens born in 9th August 2015. Burt when rescued and now with Ms. Mak, the adopter! Anima – November Acommodation (1327-Judith)!

Judith when rescued, after adopted and now paying us a visit for eight days until 13th November. 1327-Judith was adopted by Matthew on 13th November 2014 and was rescued with 1322-Jasper, 1323-Jacob, 1324-Jarek, 1325-Jarvis and 1326-Jeanie in a construction site at Ilha Verde.
