Anima–June Sad News (357-PutChai)!

<08-06-2020> On 20th February 2020, 357-PutChai showed the left side of her face swollen. She was checked by our vet, she had gum problems and medication was prescribed. Later, 357-PutChai was sent to a clinic. According to vet, she suffers from an oral tumor and most likely malignant, also unable to remove by surgery. 357-PutChai was returned to Dog Shelter, after consultation, as the tumor didn’t spread through her body. Nowadays, the tumor was growing faster and she started to be in suffer due to cancer. After discuss with the vet, and approved by tow Anima board members, she was euthanized today in no pain conditions. The last decision is always from the President of Anima and it is always very hard to make it! R.I.P., my friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–June Sad News (C2357-Ariana)!

<05-06-2020> C2357-Ariana, around a few months old, was rescued by Anima on 4th June 2020, after a call from a lady, Ms. Leonor, informing that she found an injured kitten on Tv. da Praia Grande (Macao), with blood coming from eyes, mouth and nose. She helped send the kitten directly to a clinic for treatment. C2357-Ariana was hospitalized for treatment there. Today, we were informed that Ariana passed away in the clinic. R.I.P. my friend! Anima–May Sad News (164-Trump)!

<04-06-2020> 164-Trump has been with us in our Dogs’ Shelter for long time. On 13th May, was reported by the handler that 164-Trump had a wound on his face. 164-Trump was immediately sent to a clinic for consultation as the wound was quite deep and our vet was in his day off. Surgery was performed by another vet to close up the wound. A lipoma on right hind leg of Trump was removed on 16th November, 2019 but a lump reappears on the same leg now and it seems to cause pain when being touched. According with the vet, he reported that the lump from right hind leg has grown all over into one area and results of some exams showed that it is a malign cancer. Removal and Amputation is not suggested as he will not recover. 164-Trump passed away today in Anima. R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets!...

Anima–May Sad News (C2086-Albin)!

<02-05-2020> C2085-Viru (M), around one year old; C2086-Albin (M), around one year old; C2087-Rasa (F), around two years old; C2088-Careina (F), around four years old and C2089-Wintor (M), around two years old were all rescued by Anima on 19th February 2019, from IAM due to no space. On 29th May, C2086-Albin refused to eat and had watery diarrhea. He was tested positive on a Pancreatitis test. Later, he got a swollen jaw, lymph nodes. Clinic reported that Albin was very weak, with low body temperature upon arrival and dehydrated. He was immediately put under intensive medical care and would stay in clinic for treatment. Today, the vet informed that Albin passed away. R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–May Sad News (217-Neve)!

<31-05-2020> 217-Neve was rescued by Anima and, as a pacient and relatively friendly dog, she has been our mascot for long time. On 14th May, 217-Neve showed struggle to stand and had vomited once on the same day. She was checked by our vet and she did a full blood test. Results showed that she has slightly anemia. Neve was then sent to an outside clinic for further examination. In the clinic she has been given subcutaneously fluids constantly and medicine for support kidney health as she was diagnosed with kidney failure since 29th September 2019 in another clinic. According to vet, the situation now is also joint problem (arthritis) due to old age. Her muscle on the rear legs has deteriorated. additional supplements were given for improved mobility and joint comfort with painkillers. Even though with laser therapy as a joint treatment, her kidneys would never be recovered and she was...

Anima–May Sad News (C1799-Woolf)!

<29-05-2020> C1796-Bronte (F), C1797-Austin (F), C1798-Dickinson (M) and C1799-Woolf (M), were rescued by Anima on 7th December 2017, after a call from IACM reporting that they don’t have enough space for the cats. They were all neutered by IACM and stayed in our Cats’ Paradise. Recently, C1799-Woolf vomits and he was drooling a white foam. He was sent to a clinic. His body temperature got low and Woolf had seizures. Later, Anima were informed by the vet that C1799-Woolf passed away. R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–May Sad News (C2353-Marie)!

<27-05-2020> C2353-Marie (F), around six months old, was rescued by Anima on 26th may 2020, after a call from Mr. Peter regarding that her cat, C2353-Marie was having difficult to give birth for a while and it seems that there is a kitten stuck in her pelvic canal. According to Mr. Peter, he asked a quotation from the veterinary clinic but he can’t afford the expenses as he had no job now. He asked us to help. C2353-Marie was sent to a clinic for consultation and caesarean was required. She lost her two babies, C2354-Merida and C2355-Muppets. Anima–May Sad News (B149-Lulu)!

<22-05-2020> B149-Lulu, was rescued by Anima on the 21st May 2020, after Mr. Peter, our SPP responsible at Jockey Club, brought a young egret B149-Lulu to our Dogs’ Shelter. Mr. Peter said the egret has been walking in the middle of the racecourse since yesterday and couldn’t fly. The egret Lulu was sent to a clinic for treatment until recover. Today, Anima was informed that B149-Lulu passed away in the clinic. R.I.P. my friend! Never Abandon your pets! Anima–April Sad News (C2096-King)!

<30-04-2020> C2096-King (M), around nine years old by the time, was rescued by Anima on the 8th March 2019, after a call from her owner saying that she will need to go to an elderly care home and they will not allow her to bring King. Recently, he was very weak, lethargic and he was sent to a clinic. C2096-King was suffering already with abdominal fluid and URI (Upper Respiratory Infection), according to the vet. After discussion with the vet and approved by two of our board members, we made a sad decision to put him sleep.
